The picture and video were taken at Ken’s granddaughters’ elementary school in MA after the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, TX in May 2022 when 19 young students and 2 teachers were killed. This picture and the video inspired Ken to ask the EPC Men to act at our Men’s Breakfast meeting which inspired the creation and organization of the conference.

    The first briefly highlights the rise of hate, prejudice, and violence today.

    The second digs into Christ’s message within the context of His own violent world.

  • HOW do WE RESPOND?

    The final section asks, how do we respond to our current circumstances, what sort of community is required & before we leave, what will we agree to be our mission and action steps as individuals, as a church and as the larger community of churches?
