At Elkin Presbyterian Church you will find a traditional worship service containing hymns, prayers, musical offerings, and an uplifting sermon. Our worship service brings people together to offer thanksgiving and sends them into the world to be in service to God and neighbors.

Our worship honors our Presbyterian and Reformed heritage and is based on the Revised Common Lectionary. The sacrament of the Lord's Supper is celebrated throughout the church liturgical year. To learn more, you can download a pdf that explains what Presbyterians believe about baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Music is an important part of the life of our church. For worship we use The Presbyterian Hymnal (Purple Color). Our weekly adult choir offers a mix of traditional, contemporary, Celtic, and special music throughout the year. Our worship services also include music from our children’s choir, Handbell choir and various ensembles including string quartets, brass ensembles and even bagpipes! We believe in the power of music to connect the worshipper with the presence of God.
